New Machine to sustain Moore’s Law
A new machine from ASML’s next-generation extreme ultraviolet lithography machine which helps further reduce the size of electronic chips in coming years.
What is Moor’s Law?
It is Moore’s perception that every two years the number of transistors on a microchip doubles every two years.
Though it looks valid , however, the relevance has diminished due to new ways of measuring processing power with the new methods of computation like quantum computing, distributing computing, cloud computing, etc.
It is expected the computers will evolve with the developments in quantum computing and cloud technologies.
