American Idol winner 2023
Iam Tongi was crowned the winner of American Idol 2023. The 18-year-old from Hawaii captured the hearts of viewers with his soulful voice and his heartwarming story. Tongi’s father passed away just months before his audition, and he dedicated his performance of “Hallelujah” to him.
Tongi’s win was a surprise to many, as he was not considered one of the frontrunners going into the finale. However, he blew away the judges and the audience with his performances of “I’ll Be There” by The Jackson 5 and “Bridge Over Troubled Water” by Simon & Garfunkel.
Tongi’s victory is a testament to his talent and his determination. He is a true inspiration, and he is sure to have a bright future ahead of him
