Grammy nominations 2024 have been announced. Here are some highlights:

SZA leads the nominations with 9, followed by Phoebe Bridgers with 7.

In the Album of the Year category, the contenders include SZA, Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Boygenius, Miley Cyrus, and Jon Batiste, along with albums by Lana Del Rey and Janelle Monae.

The supergroup Boygenius, which includes Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus, has been nominated for six Grammys, including Record of the Year for their song “Not Strong Enough” and Album of the Year for their album “The Record”.

Other artists with multiple Grammy nominations include Serban Ghenea and Victoria Monét with seven each, and Jack Antonoff, Jon Batiste, Brandy Clark, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, and Taylor Swift with six each.

The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) will be held on September 12, 2023, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The show will be hosted by Nicki Minaj, marking her second consecutive year in the role. This will be the first time the ceremony is held on a Tuesday.
