Baldur’s Gate 3 is a role-playing video game developed and published by Larian Studios
Based on the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop role-playing system. It is the third main game in the Baldur’s Gate series, following Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn. The game was released in early access for Microsoft Windows and macOS on October 6, 2020, and was fully released on August 3, 2023. A version for the PlayStation 5 is scheduled to be released on September 6, 2023.
The game is set in the Forgotten Realms, a campaign setting of Dungeons & Dragons. Players create a party of up to four characters to explore the region of Baldur’s Gate and the Underdark, a subterranean world. The game features turn-based combat, with players able to use a variety of weapons and abilities to defeat their enemies.
Has been praised for its graphics, gameplay, and story. The game has received a score of 91 on Metacritic, based on 100 reviews.
