Dark and Darker was officially launched

Published by EditorialStaff on

Dark and Darker was officially launched in early access on August 7, 2023, through publisher Chaf Games.

The game is available on the Chaf Games website. It is free to play, but there is also a premium currency called Red Shards that can be purchased to unlock cosmetics and character classes.

The game was originally scheduled to release in Q4 2023 but was delayed due to an ongoing legal dispute with Japanese-South Korean publisher Nexon. The dispute was over alleged similarities between Dark and Darker and an unannounced game (currently entitled P3) from Nexon.

Despite the delay and the legal dispute, Dark and Darker has been well-received by critics and players alike. The game has been praised for its fast-paced action, challenging gameplay, and deep character customization.

If you’re a fan of Diablo-style ARPGs, then Dark and Darker is definitely worth checking out. The game is free to play, so you have nothing to lose.

Here are some additional details about the Dark and Darker early access launch:

The game is currently available in English, French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese.
The game is being developed for PC, but there are plans to port it to consoles in the future.
The early access version of the game includes 4 playable classes, 10 zones, and 50 quests.
The developers plan to add new content to the game on a regular basis during the early access period.
