Manchester United completed the signing of Midfielder Mason Mount from Chelsia

With an option for another year, Mount has signed a contract until the end of the 2027-28 season.

Chelsea fans were sent a farewell message by Mount on Tuesday.

“I feel you deserve more than a written statement so I wanted to tell you directly how grateful I have been for all of your support over the last 18 years,” he wrote on Instagram.

“I know some of you won’t be happy with my decision, but it’s what’s right for me at this moment in my career.”

Mason Tony Mount is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking or central midfielder for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
He was born on January 10, 1999, in Portsmouth, England.
He began his career at Chelsea, joining the club’s academy at the age of six.
He made his senior debut for Chelsea in 2017 and has since made over 150 appearances for the club.
He has also had loan spells at Vitesse Arnhem and Derby County.
Mount has won the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup with Chelsea.
