MTV Awards 2023 Artists list confirmed to perform

The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) will be held on September 12, 2023, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The show will be hosted by Nicki Minaj, marking her second consecutive year in the role. This will be the first time the ceremony is held on a Tuesday.

  • Lil Wayne

  • Shakira
  • Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion
  • Metro Boomin featuring Future, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Swae Lee and NAV
  • LL Cool J, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Darryl “DMC” Daniels and Doug E. Fresh

The 2023 VMAs will also honor Shakira with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and Diddy with the Global Icon Award.

The show will air live on MTV from 8:00 to 11:00 PM EDT.
