Novak Djokovic reached the 2023 US Open final on Saturday, September 9, 2023

After defeating Ben Shelton in the semifinals. He will face Daniil Medvedev in the final on Sunday.

This is Djokovic’s 10th US Open final, tying him with Bill Tilden for the most by a man in tournament history. He is also looking to win his 24th Grand Slam title, which would tie Rafael Nadal for the most in the Open Era.

Medvedev is the defending champion and is looking to win his second US Open title. He defeated Carlos Alcaraz in the semifinals.

The final is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. EST on Sunday, September 10, 2023. You can watch it on ESPN or Tennis Channel.

Here is a brief preview of the match:

• Djokovic is the better returner and will look to take advantage of Medvedev’s second serve.
• Medvedev is the better mover and will look to dictate the points from the baseline.
• The match could come down to who can impose their will on the other player.

I think it will be a close match, but I’m giving Djokovic the edge. He has more experience in big matches and he seems to be playing his best tennis right now.
