Kumari Srimathi is a Telugu comedy-drama web series

The seven-episode series stars Nithya Menen as Srimathi, a 30-year-old woman who challenges stereotypes in a small town riddled with antiquity.
The series is set in a village in the East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh and hilariously encapsulates the tribulations in the life of Srimathi. She is a smart, independent woman who is determined to live her life on her own terms. However, she faces opposition from her family and society, who expect her to conform to traditional gender roles.
Despite the challenges she faces, Srimathi remains determined to pursue her dreams and live her life to the fullest. The series is a heartwarming and inspiring story about a woman’s journey to self-discovery and empowerment.
In addition to Nithya Menen, the series also stars Nirupam, Gautami, Thiruveer, Talluri Rameshwari, Naresh, and Murali Mohan in pivotal roles. Kumari Srimathi is directed by Gomtesh Upadhye and produced by Swapna Dutt.
