Maxwell’s centuries are both remarkable for their speed and their brutality. He is known for his ability to hit the ball cleanly and powerfully, and he has a wide range of shots at his disposal. In both of his fastest centuries, Maxwell was able to maintain a high strike rate throughout his innings, and he did not give the bowlers a chance to settle.
Maxwell’s fastest ODI century is also the fastest century scored by an Australian batsman in ODIs. His fastest ODI World Cup century is the fastest century scored by any batsman in the ODI World Cup.
