Thangalaan is a period action film directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by Gnanavel Raja under his banner Studio Green. The film stars Vikram in the lead role, alongside Nayanthara, Malavika Mohanan, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The film is set in the 10th century and tells the story of a Chola prince named Thangalaan.
Suryaputhra Mahavir Karna is a pan-Indian epic action film directed by R. S. Vimal and produced by Venu Kunnappilly under his banner United Film Kingdom. The film stars Vikram in the lead role, alongside Mohanlal, Prabhu, and Suresh Gopi. The film is based on the Mahabharata and tells the story of Karna, one of the main characters of the epic.
Vikram 2 is a sequel to the 2022 Tamil action thriller film Vikram. The film is written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Kamal Haasan under his banner Raaj Kamal Films International. The film stars Vikram in the lead role, alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. The film is currently in the pre-production stage and is expected to be released in 2024.
