Kashmir will host Miss World 2023
The 71st edition of the Miss World 2023 pageant is scheduled to take place on December 8, 2023, at the Kashmir International Convention Centre in Srinagar, India. This will be the second time that India has hosted the pageant. Karolina Bielawska of Poland, the reigning Miss World, will crown her successor at the end of the event.
The Miss World Organization had initially announced that the competition would take place in the United Arab Emirates in May 2023. However, four months later, they announced that the competition had been moved to India. No clear reason was given for this change of location.
Contestants from 94 countries and territories have been selected to compete in the competition.
Who won Miss World 2022?
The winner of the Miss World 2022 pageant was Karolina Bielawska from Poland. She was crowned the 70th Miss World on March 17, 2022, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The first runner-up was Miss USA, Shree Saini, and the second runner-up was Olivia Yacé from Ivory Coast.
Karolina Bielawska is a model and was studying for a master’s degree at the time of her win. She is also passionate about voluntary work and her Beauty with a Purpose project, “Zupa Na Pietrynie,” provides constant help to homeless people in crisis and raises awareness.
How are contestants judged in the Miss World 2023 pageant?
