List of Telugu movies that are set to release in Sept 2023

Kushi(1st September): Directed by Shiva Nirvana, and starring actors Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha, Kushi is one of the most awaited Telugu films of the month. It is said to be a romantic comedy, that sees the changing dynamics between a couple once they begin to live together.

Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty(7th Sept 2023): Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty marks the comeback of Telugu cinema’s celebrated female star Anushka Shetty on the big screen after a hiatus of three years. Directed by debutant Mahesh Babu, the film also stars stand-up comic Naveen Polishetty in the lead.

Skanda(15th September): Director Boyapati Sreenu and ‘Ustaad’ Ram Pothineni have teamed up for the action-drama Skanda. Said to be made on a commercial entertainer, the film also stars Sreeleela in the lead. It will be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.

Tilli Square(15th Sept 2023): Tillu Square, is a sequel to the 2022 comedy caper DJ Tillu. Directed by Mallik Ram, the film stars Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran. Anupama has replaced Neha Shetty in the second part. It promises to offer twice as much fun as the original.

Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire(28th September): Directed by KGF fame Prashanth Neel, and starring Baahubali star Prabhas, Salaar is undoubtedly the most-anticipated film of the season. The film has collected 2.5 crore in the advance booking shows in the United States, weeks before its release proving how fans are excited for the film’s release. The film is said to have been shot in Europe and Africa. It also stars Shruthi Haasan in a pivotal role.
