Directed by Wendy Bednarz. It is a drama film that tells the story of an Indian woman living in the Arabian Gulf who embarks on a search for truth and accountability after her daughter is left to die on a school bus in the sweltering desert heat.

The film stars Tannishtha Chatterjee as Ananda, the mother of the deceased child. Ananda is a determined and resilient woman who refuses to give up on finding justice for her daughter. She navigates the complex social and bureaucratic landscape of the Arabian Gulf, facing challenges and setbacks along the way.

Yellow Bus is a powerful and moving film that explores themes of grief, loss, and resilience. It is also a timely film that sheds light on the tragic issue of children being left behind on school buses.

Biographical drama film based on the life of Srikanth Bolla, a visually impaired Indian industrialist and the founder of Bollant Industries. Bolla was also the first international visually impaired student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Management Science program.

The film stars Rajkummar Rao as Srikanth Bolla, Alaya F, Jyotika, Sharad Kelkar, and Ravi Singh. It is directed by Tushar Hiranandani and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banner of Chalk and Cheese Films and T-Series Films, Most inspiring film to watch in September 2023.

  1. Jaane Jaan (Sept 21)

Mystery thriller film written and directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The film is an adaptation of the 2005 Japanese novel The Devotion of Suspect X by Keigo Higashino.

The film stars Kareena Kapoor Khan as a single mother involved in a murder, alongside Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma. The film is produced under the banner 12th Street Entertainment and Northern Lights Films in association with Kross Pictures and Balaji Motion Pictures.

The film is scheduled to be released on Netflix on the day of Kareena Kapoor’s birthday in September 2023.

  1. The Great Indian Family (Sept 22)

Hindi-language family comedy film written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. It stars an ensemble cast of Vicky Kaushal, Manushi Chhillar, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Sadiya Siddiqui, Alka Amin, Srishti Dixit, Bhuvan Arora, Ashutosh Ujjwal and Bharti Perwani. The film music will be composed by Pritam.

Principal photography began in November 2020 and ended in February 2021. It is scheduled to be released theatrically on 22 September 2023.

The plot of the film is still under wraps, but it is said to be a heartwarming and humorous story about a large Indian family. The film is expected to be one of the biggest releases of the year in September 2023 in India.

  1. Sukhee (Sept 22)

Family drama film directed by Sonal Joshi and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banner of T-Series and Abundantia Entertainment.

The film stars Shilpa Shetty Kundra as Sukhpreet “Sukhee” Kalra, a 38-year-old Punjabi housewife who is fed up with her mundane life and decides to attend her school reunion in Delhi. In Delhi, Sukhee relives her 17-year-old self and goes through a plethora of experiences in a span of just seven days. She comes out rekindled, reborn, and makes the most difficult transition in her life – from being a wife and a mother to being a woman again.

The film also stars Amit Sadh, Kusha Kapila, Dilnaz Irani, Pavleen Gujral, and Chaitanya Choudhary.
